Never Forget Them  Foundation the Netherlands.
This foundation commemorates the liberation of an area called “The Betuwe”, located in the centre East of the Netherlands. They also teach school children the WWII history in that area, and involve them in the yearly commemorations around the first week in October. The foundation’s goal is to pass on the commemorations of WWII to future generations in order to “Never Forget Them”.
ETO-Tours.nl participates with the “Never Forget Them” Foundation.

Hotel Courage Sionshof Nijmegen.
Hotel Sionshof has a rich history and tradition for over 85 years.
For Nijmegen and its WWII history, Sionshof played a major role hosting General James Gavin and his staff during Operation Market Garden.

Hotel Haus Duden Wesel, Germany
These hotel buildings date back to 1767, and in the year 1829, Konrad Duden was born here. He was the founder of the present German orthography.
During Operation Varsity, March 1945, this building was used as a RHQ by the 194th GIR, of the 17th Airborne Division.
ETO-Tours has a special relationship with Hotel Haus Duden for its historical value in WWII, as well as its superb accommodations.
Hotel Duden is equipped with modern conveniences and is the most requested hotel by veterans who return to their old battlefields.

Jos Dubbeldam supported the goals and ideals of ETO-Tours from day one, following us on the trails from Normandy to Arnhem. In his superb production; “Living History”, Jos gave a boost to what ETO-Tours is all about. With this documentary film, he won both national and international prizes at several film festivals. Living History was awarded 4-stars at BIAFF 2008.

Sometimes called the smallest private WWII museum on “the Island”, the owner creates displays in the purest form which are both informative and original. Much of his collection comes from the area in which the museum is situated, and almost all items have a special story. A voluntary admission fee is requested to behold the abundance of history in the museum. It really is a ‘must see’ when in the area. Check hours of operation before visiting.

These wonderful bunch of guys from the Czech Republic are an example of how commemorating should be done in today’s modern world.
ETO-Tours first met this group at the Final Reunion of the 17th AB Association in Hampton VA, 2007.
The group has visited the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany ( Op. Varsity ) several times.
They care a lot about the veterans, and made lots of international friends since 2007.

This production company captures on film the testimonies of the men who were there…WW2 Reflections is located in the heart of D-Day country and their historians and technicians are on the ground to record the ‘then and now’. They use their footage, stills and interviews for their films.
ETO-Tours participated in the D-Day, The Hells Highway and the Bulge DVDs.

The Red Parachute Museum Arromanches, Normandy
A formidable WWII collection combined with Bed and Breakfast facilities.
Some 150 yards from Gold Beach, well known for its Mulberry harbor and right in the middle of the Normandy area, a Dutch owner runs this combination of WWII history and B&B.
ETO-Tours provides arrangements to this typical French fisherman’s house B&B, as part of the 11 day ETO Tour number 2.
